UniDistance Suisse offers fully online university degree programmes and is accredited under the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA). To strengthen our Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence programme in the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, we are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking professional for the position of:
Lecturer for the Module M05 “Computer Vision & Perception” 10 ECTS (18%)
Start date: August 1st, 2027
Module completion: each autumn semester (beginning of August to end of January)
Your responsibilities
Teaching the module M05 Computer Vision & Perception.
Developing and delivering module content suitable for online teaching.
Providing online resources and learning material for our teaching platform.
Supporting students during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant.
Organising and delivering online exercise classes and online lectures during the semester in cooperation with the teaching assistant.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the module content and learning experience.
Your profile
Strong background in teaching at a university level, experience in distance teaching is an asset.
PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Perception, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with active research in computer vision, visual perception, scene understanding, multimodal perception, or related areas.
Fluent in English (teaching language); knowledge of German and/or French is an asset.
