We’re searching for a MYP Design/Maths/Science Teacher who will be responsible for teaching these three subjects within the Middle School at Zug Campus, working with colleagues to develop engaging and inspirational learning experiences with inquiry at the heart of the work. They will work with students with diverse talents and abilities, fostering passion and interest in each subject area. In addition, all teachers participate in our student Personal Development Programme as a Homeroom, PSHE and community engagement and support the school’s after-school programme.
This is a part-time (80%) position and limited to 1 year. The contract could potentially be renewed afterwards.

Designing Learning
- Plan for purposeful, conceptual, inquiry-driven learning that meets the needs of all learners (Inclusion policy) and aligns with the ISZL curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues within and across departments and divisions to ensure alignment.
- Use ISZL digital platforms to collate and share planning documentation.
- Utilise all forms of assessment to adjust plans and improve learning in a timely way.
- Personalise and differentiate learning experiences that foster independent learning.
Facilitating Learning
- Cultivate an environment where students feel safe to contribute and ask questions of the teacher, of each other, and of themselves.
- Develop student collaboration skills using a variety of appropriate structures.
- Integrate technology in an appropriate and meaningful way to extend student thinking.
- Learning experiences should be contextualized and offer internationally-minded approaches, fostering intercultural competence.
Assessing Learning
- Assess student progress in a timely way, aligned with establishedISZLand IB objectives.
- Select appropriate formative and summative assessment methods for all learners.
- Use ISZL digital platforms to document and communicate the rationale, criteria and outcomes of assessment with teachers, students and parents.
Empowering Learning
- Integrate the range of identities of the students by providing opportunities for them to contextualise their own learning and learning about the identities of others.
- Promote student agency in co-designing learning and assessment.
- Empower students to understand their learning profile and take ownership of their learning journey.
What we’re looking for
- Internationally recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
- An EU/EEA/CH passport or a right to work in Switzerland is required - we are unable to apply for working visas for passports outside of these countries for this role.
- MYP Experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience of working in a Middle School and International School environment.
