Start of employment 1 February 2028, or by agreement, permanent employmentThe Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich invites applications for a Professorship and Chair of Neurology. The professorship is based at the Department of Neurology of the University Hospital Zurich and represents the subject in research, patient care and teaching. The professor will be appointed as head of the department.
We seek a dynamic and inclusive leader with outstanding clinical expertise, a distinguished scientific track record, and strong international recognition, who can articulate a compelling vision for the future of neurological research and education. Applicants must hold a habilitation (or equivalent qualification) and board certification in neurology. Relevant research areas may include, but are not limited to, cerebrovascular diseases, neurooncology, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuroimmunology. Candidates should demonstrate leadership experience at the level of senior physician or senior attending physician at a university hospital.
