- A recognised teaching qualification and relevant university degree.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Business Management, Business Studies, Economics, Humanities or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching IB Diploma Programme Business Management is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Middle School students and an interest in interdisciplinary Integrated Humanities teaching.
- Ability to plan independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Strong classroom management, organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent social competence and empathy, with the ability to build positive relationships with students from a diverse international community.
- Teach two mixed Higher Level/Standard Level IB Diploma Business Management classes, with 6 periods per class per week.
- Teach a Grade 9 Integrated Humanities class, with 6 periods per week, developing students’ understanding of individuals, societies and the wider world through an interdisciplinary approach.
- Share responsibility for a Grade 10 Integrated Humanities class, teaching 2 periods per week.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons appropriate to students’ ages, abilities and programme requirements.
- Prepare students effectively for IB Business Management assessment, including supporting students with their Internal Assessment and developing the skills required for external examinations.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with school and IB expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment and attendance using the school’s digital platforms.
